Volunteers play a vital role at UpSpring - over 300 volunteers are involved in some capacity throughout the year, helping us run our programs effectively and efficiently. Our volunteer opportunities allow the entire community the chance to support children who need consistency, stability, and reinforcement. We could not make our programs successful without your help! UpSpring Summer 360° Volunteer Opportunities:

• Community Lunch - Cater, serve, and eat lunch with the students at one or more of our camp locations with your company or community group. Available dates:

• Thursday, June 12 - Fairfield

• Tuesday, June 17 - Cincinnati, Fairfield, NKY

• Thursday, June 26 - NKY

• Thursday, July 3 - Cincinnati, Fairfield, NKY

• Thursday, July 10 - Cincinnati, Fairfield, NKY

• Field Trip Volunteers - Join us for a field trip at places like the Cincinnati Zoo, Wake Nation, Kings Island, and more! Please contact us if you’re interested in helping.

  • June 13:

    • Cincinnati camp: 9:30am-3:00pm

    • Fairfield camp: 9:30am-2:30pm

  • June 20:

    • NKY Camp: 9:30am-3:00pm

  • June 27:

    • Cincinnati Camp: 9:30am-3:00pm

    • NKY Camp: 10:00 am-3:00 pm

  • July 1:

    • UpSpring All-Star Games (all camps): 10:30am-3:30pm. 8 volunteers needed to serve as coaches, referees/umpires, score-keepers, and cheerleaders; help assist games, activities, etc.

  • July 7:

    • Fairfield Camp: 12:30pm-2:30pm

  • July 11:

    • NKY Camp: 10:00am-1:00pm

    • Fairfield Camp: 9:00am-2:30pm

  • July 18:

    • All-Camp Olympics Day: 10:30am-3:30pm. 8-10 volunteers needed to help set up and run games and activities, be group leaders, pass out lunch, set up/clean up, etc.

Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities:

• Laundry Kit Production - Help our students keep their clothes clean with necessary laundry supplies.

• Hygiene Kit Production (male and female kits currently needed) - Ensure children stay healthy with access to soap, toothpaste, deodorant, and other hygiene items.

• Host a fundraiser - Hold a fun event, golf outing, lemonade stand, quarter drive, Facebook fundraiser, or any other kind of fundraiser to help UpSpring. You can also host a supply drive (school supplies, seasonal clothing, laundry products). Check out an updated list of needed items here.

• In-Office Volunteering - Help us put together laundry and hygiene kits, check our inventory, and stay organized!
